An old age home houses elderly people who either have no family or have been abandoned by their families. The home usually has a care-takers who monitors the residents of the home and a few helpers to take care of the residents. Old age homes are for old people where they are taken care. The old people who are alone or don't have anyone to take care live in these places. An old age home is a shelter that is home to the older and needy people who the family has abandoned. In old age homes, these people are taken care of the food, clothing and shelter. They are also given proper medical facilities. The care child and old age foundation supports more than 400 senior citizens by supporting them with food grains, medicines and dry snacks etc. to the senior citizens.
